Shanti Mukand Hospital was founded on 2nd April 1995. It started with 32 bedded trust based hospital Registered under Society Act 1860 by Dr. R P Gupta & his team. We pursue the legacy of selfless service – the cornerstone of Hippocratic ethos – with vigour, year after year.
We are a Charitable Institution registered under Section 12 A of the Income Tax Act 1961. We are an eligible organization to receive Donations from the public and donations given to the organization are exempted in the hands of the donors the provision of Under Section 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961. We are an approved Non Teaching Organization for Training Fellows under DNB programme by National Board of Examination (NBE).
At present we are 200 bedded (NABH, NABL Accredited, NABH Nursing, Emergency Excellence & Safe-I [Which signifies that the mandatory quality protocols which includes injection safety, Infusion safety prevention, healthcare worker safety & Biomedical Waste Management & disinfection and sterilization management are followed actively by SMH] certified), most integrated healthcare provider of East Delhi, which indicates our continuous endeavour towards improving and providing better health care centric services.We are 28th Hospital in India, 2nd Hospital in Delhi & 1st in East Delhi, which is NABH – Emergency Excellence Certified Hospital.
